Title: Need a place for the kids to thrive
Post by: Joxsen on October 01, 2026, 06:39:35 AM
We moved to Prescott a month ago and the kids are struggling to find their footing. They loved their old church's youth group and we're hoping to find something similar here. One place we visited felt too rigid. Any ideas for churches in Prescott for families that are flexible and have dynamic programs for children?

Rigid can kill the vibe fast, especially when kids are already missing their old youth group. Our two went through the same thing after we moved here. They loved the games and group time at their previous church, and the first place we tried in Prescott felt too strict. A neighbor mentioned Non-denominational churches Prescott (http://www.prescottpottershouse.com) , so we gave it a shot. The children's program mixed learning with activities, and our kids actually wanted to go back. Within a few weeks they'd found a couple of friends and were asking about events during the week. We also met other parents who were easy to talk to. It felt flexible and real, so I'd try a couple of Sundays before deciding.
