A solo trip to Mangalore was one of my best decisions! The Mangalore places to visit solo are Lighthouse Hill Garden for morning walks, Bejai Museum for history lovers, and Someshwara Beach for some peaceful alone time. The city feels very safe and easy to navigate. Autos are easily available everywhere, and locals are super helpful. Definitely underrated as a solo destination!

The Manikarnika Ghat story goes back to Hindu mythology when goddess Parvati's earring (mani) fell here while she and Lord Shiva were bathing nearby. Lord Shiva then dug a sacred well on that very spot. That's how the ghat got its name. It's one of those stories that gives the whole place such a deep, spiritual weight!

First time in Sion Mumbai, and confused about what to eat? Start with Gurukripa, their South Indian breakfast is legendary among locals. The vada pav stalls outside the station are honestly some of the best I've had in all of Mumbai. Don't skip the pav bhaji in the evening, loaded with extra butter, obviously!

The whole area has this old-school Mumbai food culture that feels very authentic and unhurried. Absolute foodie paradise!
