The Eufy camera purple light issue usually indicates some issues regarding night vision mode or the image sensor of the camera. It could be inappropriate settings, low illumination, or sometimes just a trivial glitch. First, clean the camera lens using a cloth to wipe off dirt or smudges that may degrade image quality. Secondly, check whether the Night Vision settings are properly set in the Eufy Security app. Sometimes, the problem gets resolved by power cycling the camera (turning the camera off, waiting for a few seconds, and then turning it back on), which eliminates any temporary glitches.

Should the Purple Light issue persist, another likely solution is to perform a reset Eufy camera to factory defaults. To reset, press and hold the reset button on the camera for about 10 seconds until you hear a beep. Then rejoin the camera to your network and install any available firmware updates through the app.
