Hey everyone! I'm finally taking the plunge to remodel my very outdated 10x10 kitchen and I'm trying to get my budget in order before talking to contractors. The range I'm seeing online is all over the place — anywhere from $15,000 for a basic refresh to over $50,000 for a high-end overhaul! I'm aiming for a solid mid-range update: new cabinets (probably semi-custom), quartz countertops, a nice backsplash, mid-tier appliances, and updated flooring. I'm not moving any walls or plumbing. For those of you who've recently remodeled a 10x10 kitchen, what was your final all-in cost, and what did it include? What were the biggest budget surprises — good or bad? Any advice on where to splurge vs. save would be incredibly helpful. I want to go in with realistic expectations! Thanks in advance

There is a quiet kind of beauty in places that don not try too hard yet still leave an impression. I enjoy learning about towns that balance history and everyday life so naturally, and Sherman, TX feels like one of those gems you stumble upon unexpectedly. It gives off a warm, lived-in vibe that is comforting. Honestly, it seems like the kind of place where simple moments turn into meaningful memories over time.
