Mini Cooper S grinding noise when reversing

This is such a weird one and it's driving me crazy, my 2021 Mini Cooper S makes this horrible grinding noise only when I reverse and only for the first few seconds. Once I start moving forward everything is completely fine, no sounds no vibrations nothing. I've noticed the brakes feel a tiny bit grabby sometimes too like they're sticking slightly when I first start driving in the morning from my parking in Barsha. I'm guessing maybe the pads are wearing unevenly or there's some rust buildup because of the humidity lately but I'm not entirely sure. I've been looking around for a place that does proper Dubai Mini Cooper brake pad service because I know these cars are a bit different with their European systems and I don't want some general garage messing it up. A colleague mentioned there's a specialist in Al Quoz that only does Minis and BMWs but he couldn't remember the workshop name. Has anyone dealt with something similar on their Mini? Would love to know if a simple pad change fixed it or if I need to look at something else like the calipers sticking. Also if you know a good reliable place around Al Quoz or even Sheikh Zayed side please let me know, really want to get this sorted before it turns into something more expensive.
