After a twoday layoff that included a weatherpostponed matchup on Tuesday,  the Detroit Tigers resumed play on Wednesday night and took the series opener from the Colorado Rockies in a battle that was much closer than ,  the good guys prevailed 8on a wild night at Coors postponed game was moved to Thursday and will be played in piggyback fashion after the afternoon session. Splitting the doubleheader would give AJ Hinchs crew yet another series win,  while sweeping the pair would give them a series sweep as Mize will be first up for the Tigers Tommy Kahnle Jersey,  who has taken major steps forward this season in fulfilling the potential that made him a No. 1 overall draft pick. He will face a solid Kyle Freeland,  whose numbers look pretty similar to that,  Detroit probable pitcher is TBD,  but it will most likely be Keider Montero.
